- As transparency is key, you receive a photo inspection bi-annually.

How to transaction fees work?

MemberStack charges a flat transaction fee of 10% on the Startup plan and 3% on the Pro plan, and 1% on the Scale plan. Stripe charges an additional credit card processing fee that depends on a few different factors. See Stripe's pricing for more details.

What can I protect with MemberStack?

We’re working on a content management system that would make it possible to store anything securely on any website. Although, it’ll be a few months before something like this is ready (01/2019). Until then, MemberStack protects pages and content on those pages using redirects. They can't be "turned off" from a browser, but there are ways to access the HTML of a page if you know what you're looking for, and what you're doing. Therefor, we don't recommend using MemberStack to protect highly sensitive information.

Who should apply for the Startup Plan?

Pre-revenue companies, students, and other folks who can't (yet) afford the $25/mo fee. We've been there, so we're happy to work with you. 

Warning! Not everyone is accepted into our Startup plan.

How do I get the money I earn through MemberStack?

Stripe! A stripe account is required to use MemberStack and receive payouts. Money you earn will be transferred directly into your bank account.

Do you have a free trial?

We sure do! Test MemberStack for as long as you need without entering your credit card. While you're in a free trial you're unable to invite more than 1 client or staff,  connect a stripe account, and allow more than 5 users to sign up for a free membership.

Do you offer discounts for students or nonprofits?

We do not offer any discounts for students or nonprofits at this time. However, We do offer a 10% recurring discount to any websites that include our logo and link on sign up and login pages. You're also welcome to apply to our Startup program if you're unable to afford the $25/mo plan.

What does it mean ?

Ghoat means Greatest Home of All Time; it a word play on the term GOAT used notably in sports.
We believe your property is more than just an asset and should be taken care of as if it were our own home – we will aim to make it one of the greatest and most welcoming home for our occupants.

Who are you ?

We created Ghoat in 2018 after navigating the letting market in London and realising that:

  • Landlords were paying a lot of fees for a service which was not always the best and/or very flexible
  • Tenants were paying to sleep in dormitories with flatmates they sometimes didn’t even know

We aim to be flexible, responsive, and provide a high-quality service to both our landlords and occupants, all of this at a fair price for both.

Are you yet another estate agent?

Not at all. We work with estate agent sometimes but are not estate agents. We are both your tenant and your property manager a new kind of business relationship where we want our landlords to maximize their rental yield and only pay for what they should.
We aim to make your property an asset again and not just a liability with lots of cost and poor management.

How much will it cost me ?

Wecharge 8% of the annual rent and this includes everything from lettings tomanaging the property on a daily basis.

Who will work in my property in case of issues ?

We have vetted professionals working all domains fromplumbing to roofing as well as handymen. They are trusted contractors with whomwe have worked for years.

Can I use my own trusted contractors ?

Of course, we are also happy to use your own contractors andorganise the works with them.

What type of contract would we sign ?

We would sign a property management agreement stipulatingthe different terms of our agreement.

How long will the contract last ?

We generally sign 1-year contract but can remain flexible onspecial requests.

Do you manage any kind of properties ?

Yes, we manage flats from 1 bedroom to large HMO. We have anextensive experience in managing both Tenants queries and organising workswithin the flat.
